Chief Justice Roberts, President Carter, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, fellow Americans, and people of the world: thank you.

We, the citizens of America, are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and to restore its promise for all of our people.

Together, we will determine the course of America and the world for years to come.

We will face challenges. We will confront hardships. But we will get the job done. Every four years, we gather on these steps to carry out the orderly and peaceful transfer of power, and we are grateful to President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for their gracious aid throughout this transition. They have been magnificent.
Today’s ceremony, however, has very special meaning. Because today we are not merely transferring power from one Administration to another, or from one party to another – but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the American People.

For too long, a small group in our nation’s Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost.

Washington flourished – but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered – but the jobs left, and the factories closed.

The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation’s Capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.
That all changes – starting right here, and right now, because this moment is your moment: it belongs to you! It belongs to everyone gathered here today and everyone watching all across America. This is your day. This is your celebration. And this, the United States of America, is your country.

What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people. January 20th 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again.

The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer.
Everyone is listening to you now. You came by the tens of millions to become part of a historic movement the likes of which the world has never seen before. At the center of this movement is a crucial conviction: that a nation exists to serve its citizens.

Americans want great schools for their children, safe neighborhoods for their families, and good jobs for themselves.

These are the just and reasonable demands of a righteous public. But for too many of our citizens, a different reality exists: Mothers and children trapped in poverty in our inner cities; rusted-out factories scattered like tombstones across the landscape of our nation; an education system, flush with cash, but which leaves our young and beautiful students deprived of knowledge; and the crime and gangs and drugs that have stolen too many lives and robbed our country of so much unrealized potential.
This American carnage stops RIGHT HERE and stops RIGHT NOW. We are one nation – and their pain is our pain.  Their dreams are our dreams; and their success will be our success. We share one heart, one home, and one glorious destiny.
The oath of office I take today is an oath of allegiance to all Americans. For many decades, we’ve enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry;

Subsidized the armies of other countries while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military; We’ve defended other nation’s borders while refusing to defend our own;

And spent trillions of dollars overseas while America’s infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay.

We’ve made other countries rich while the wealth, strength, and confidence of our country has disappeared over the horizon.

One by one, the factories shuttered and left our shores, with not even a thought about the millions upon millions of American workers left behind.

The wealth of our middle class has been ripped from their homes and then redistributed across the entire world.

But that is the past. And now we are looking only to the future.

We assembled here today are issuing a new decree to be heard in every city, in every foreign capital, and in every hall of power.

From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land.

From this moment on, it’s going to be America First. Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign affairs, will be made to benefit American workers and American families. We must protect our borders from the ravages of other countries making our products, stealing our companies, and destroying our jobs. Protection will lead to great prosperity and strength.

I will fight for you with every breath in my body – and I will never, ever let you down.

America will start winning again, winning like never before. We will bring back our jobs. We will bring back our borders.  We will bring back our wealth. And we will bring back our dreams.

We will build new roads, and highways, and bridges, and airports, and tunnels, and railways all across our wonderful nation.

We will get our people off of welfare and back to work – rebuilding our country with American hands and American labor.

We will follow two simple rules: Buy American and Hire American.
We will seek friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world – but we do so with the understanding that it is the right of all nations to put their own interests first.
We do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example for everyone to follow.

We will reinforce old alliances and form new ones – and unite the civilized world against Radical Islamic Terrorism, which we will eradicate completely from the face of the Earth.
At the bedrock of our politics will be a total allegiance to the United States of America, and through our loyalty to our country, we will rediscover our loyalty to each other.

When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice.
The Bible tells us, “how good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.”

We must speak our minds openly, debate our disagreements honestly, but always pursue solidarity. When America is united, America is totally unstoppable. There should be no fear – we are protected, and we will always be protected.
We will be protected by the great men and women of our military and law enforcement and, most importantly, we are protected by God.
Finally, we must think big and dream even bigger. In America, we understand that a nation is only living as long as it is striving.

We will no longer accept politicians who are all talk and no action – constantly complaining but never doing anything about it.
The time for empty talk is over. Now arrives the hour of action.
Do not let anyone tell you it cannot be done.  No challenge can match the heart and fight and spirit of America.
We will not fail. Our country will thrive and prosper again. We stand at the birth of a new millennium, ready to unlock the mysteries of space, to free the Earth from the miseries of disease, and to harness the energies, industries and technologies of tomorrow.
A new national pride will stir our souls, lift our sights, and heal our divisions. It is time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never forget: that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots, we all enjoy the same glorious freedoms, and we all salute the same great American Flag. And whether a child is born in the urban sprawl of Detroit or the windswept plains of Nebraska, they look up at the same night sky, they fill their heart with the same dreams, and they are infused with the breath of life by the same almighty Creator.
So to all Americans, in every city near and far, small and large, from mountain to mountain, and from ocean to ocean, hear these words: You will never be ignored again. Your voice, your hopes, and your dreams, will define our American destiny. And your courage and goodness and love will forever guide us along the way.
Together, We Will Make America Strong Again. We Will Make America Wealthy Again.

We Will Make America Proud Again.

We Will Make America Safe Again….

and Yes, Together, We Will Make America Great Again. Thank you, God Bless You, And God Bless America.
Donald J. Trump

45th President of the United States

Nigeria@57 is not 57days but 57years of Independence. Nigeria got her independence 1st October 1960. A lot has happened in this past years; the highs and lows, the good, the bad and the ugly but we keep moving on. I know for sure God has a plan for Nigeria and no man can doubt that.

Those of you complaining that Nigeria is bad If you take a survey there are so many Nigerians out there doing exploits. So before you complain what’s your contribution in making Nigeria great? Have you asked yourself am I  affecting Nigeria positively or negatively?

Everyday on the news you will hear of corruption by our leaders who are suppose to pilot the affairs of this great country Nigeria. All they want to do is share the “national cake”.  The salaries of our political leaders are so outrageous; they earn so much and do so little. Mr political office holders where is your conscience?

Niger Delta Militants always bombing pipelines and destroying the aquatic world forgetting that all these are loses that will take time to build thereby taking the country backwards. If you really want to prove a point use dialogue and other forms to reach out to the government.

Boko Haram killings and Biafra issues are issues that will take the nation backwards if not properly handled.

In this period and season we should understand the times and know that we can make Nigeria great again if we work together.

Come let’s all put our hands together, bring our different ideas and implement them properly.
God has embedded in you wisdom to make our nation great.

My friend complaining about the leaders have you prayed for them? Have you done your own part by being a law abiding citizen?

Let’s embrace peace, love and lend a helping hand to the next person. We need each other to survive and succeed.

Wherever you find yourself do the right and don’t compromise that’s the first thing you owe this country.

God bless Nigeria.
Happy Independence Nigeria!!!
Great People! Great Nation!

#iPGN: Iloabuchi Vivian Chinonyerem Made 9 A1s In 2016 May/June WAEC Examination(BEST WAEC RESULT).

They say no good thing can come from Aba but I tell you its not true, my colleague Mrs Ngozi Igwe has an amazing sister Iloabuchi  Vivian Chinonyerem. She has lifted the face of Aba in Abia state by making nine A1 in the just concluded WAEC Exam.

In an era were students in secondary school are shivering when they hear the acronym WAEC,  Iloabuchi Vivian Chinonyerem gave West African Examination Council flawless victory by having A1 in all nine subjects she registered for.

The name Iloabuchi Vivian Chinonyerem is trending on social media and local news in Nigeria because of her hard work and success.

This is an eye-opener to all secondary school students that hard work pays off and A1 in the nine subjects is achievable.

Vivian Iloabuchi Chinonyerem did not achieve A1 in the nine subjects she registered for by folding her arms and spending (wasted) time on social media, She achieved it via hardworking and giving herself to studies and prayers.

My name is Iloabuchi Vivian Chinonyerem. I was born on the seventh day of July in the year 1999 into the family of Sir&Lady A.E. Iloabuchi. I am the last of six children.

I just graduated from Dority International Secondary School, Abayi, Aba on the 23rd day of July, 2016. The school is owned by an African-American, Mrs. Zovannah Onumah.

Dority is quite challenging and stressful; but it exposes students to a great deal of knowledge and opportunities. I got enrolled into Dority from a school in Abuja in jss2. I wasn’t happy with my parents for a really long time for making that decision. But now, I’m very thankful that they did.

In Dority, I was exposed to a lot of competitions and conferences.
I attended NISSMUN(Nigerian International Secondary School Model United Nations) conference while in Dority and was appointed a director for the next year. I participated in the PAMO-G(Pan African Mathematics Olympiad for Girls) and won a bronze medal. I participated in school elections and once emerged as the Assistant Labour Prefect for the academic year. I also participated actively in interhouse sports competitions in games such as: handball, volleyball, basketball etc and led my house to victory on some occasions.

My final year in secondary school brought forth a lot of challenges to me. I asked a lot of predecessors that I admire for their smartness what I was to do to make an excellent result. Some people told me to read and read. But someone told me to start praying as she was talking to me and I did. I even asked people to pray for me. God’s grace has gotten me thus far.

I took a lot of exams; both internal and external. In Dority, final year students take a lot of mock examinations to prepare them for the main ones. I took the UTME in march and made a score of 260. This really disappointed me; because I thought I deserved better. Later, I discovered that the examination is not a certificate examination so they don’t give students their raw scores but a normalized one. Before the end of March, the long-awaited WASSCE commenced and everyone was tensed up. But we had been prepared, so we(my set mates and I) entered the examination hall with confidence and knowledge of what to expect due to previous mock exams. There is no room for malpractice in Dority; before we move in, we are searched to the skin to make sure we are free of any implicating material.

Speaking on how I prepared for my exams. I didn’t do anything out of the ordinary. I downloaded every syllabus I needed and tried to eliminate topic by topic.  I read a lot; at least more than I’ve had to read in my entire life. Some nights I’d read till dawn because I needed to cover the entire syllabus of a particular subject. I was robbed of sleep for so many days, but it was a sacrifice that had to be made. Alas, my hardwork paid off. But I can’t take credit for it. I believe in the ability of God’s grace to do wonders in one’s life and that’s what has been working for me.

I have so many dreams and aspirations. I’d like to be a medical doctor in future in the field of genetics. There are so many diseases or syndromes caused by genetic mutation and I’d like to help people that are suffering from illnesses like: Down Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, Cystic Fibrosis, Sickle Cell Anaemia and so on.
Also, I’d like to be a writer and activist. In order to speak against oppression and enlighten the populace on their rights and obligations.

Iloabuchi Vivian Chinonyerem  is also a good writer and she is spiritually rooted in God.

I want to use this medium to call on our leaders, philanthropist and those that have the mind of  God to celebrate and support  Iloabuchi Vivian Chinonyerem in achieving the great future that she has. She deserves a scholarship from the Government or NGO’s that support education.
She has a lot to offer to our great nationa Nigeria and the rest of the world.

Congrats to you Vivian.

#iPGN: Jeb Bush Drops Out Of US Presidential

Bush’s withdrawal was due to a string of losses in the primaries, which culminated with a 4th place finish in South Carolina with only 7.8 percent of the votes.

‘Tonight I am suspending my campaign,’ he said to his supporters at his campaign headquarters last night.

‘I’ve had an incredible life and, for me, public service has been the highlight of that life, but no matter what the future holds, here’s the greatest safety landing if you can imagine,’ he added, gesturing to his wife. ‘Tonight I’m going to sleep with the best friend I have and the love of my life.’

Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio had come in joint second behind Trump in the South Carolina primaries, with Ben Carson finishing at the bottom

#iPGN: Microsoft’s Lumia 650 phone to be unveiled February 1

Less than two weeks ago, we confirmed the specifications and design of Microsoft’s Lumia 650. Now we’re learning that the device will be officially unveiled on February 1, according to Windows Central.

Final details of the device, including pricing and availability, will be announced via a blog post. Microsoft unsurprisingly isn’t holding a press event for the mid-range phone, and apparently won’t have much of a presence at next’s months Mobile World Congress.

But the Lumia 650 is significant in that it is likely to be the last Lumia phone that Microsoft releases. Indeed, that’s arguably the most interesting part of this report:

Some sites have reported on a device labelled RM-1182 as being certified in various countries like China and Indonesia. The Lumia 850 was RM-1180 before being cancelled, and it is unclear exactly what RM-1182 is at this time. Having said that, none of our sources knows of an RM-1182, and we have heard multiple times that the Lumia 650 is the last Lumia.

For months now, rumors have talked about both a Lumia 750 and a Lumia 850, while others have suggested neither device will see the light of day. This speculation is nicely coupled with hints that Microsoft may be transitioning its mobile device oversight to the Surface team.

Last Lumia or not, the 650 is already getting mixed descriptions: “To its credit, the Lumia 650 was described it as having a very nice fit and finish, appearing even more luxurious in hand than the Lumia 950 variants. However, its entry-level CPU and lack of LTE capabilities (at least in the unit in question) were speculated to hurt the handset in its search for potential customers.”

Maybe Microsoft’s strategy is to set the bar low with the Lumia 650 before debuting its widely-rumored Surface phone. But the more likely reason for the Lumia 650 is simple: Microsoft just wants to round out its lineup with a mid-range Windows 10 Mobile device.

#iPGN: Spain Finds Functional Cure For HIV Virus

Doctors in Barcelona, Spain believe they have found the cure to HIV – the AIDS-causing virus that affects the lives of more than 34 million people worldwide, according to WHO.

By using blood transplants from the umbilical cords of individuals with a genetic resistance to HIV, Spanish medical professionals believe they can treat the virus, having proven the procedure successful with one patient.

A 37-year-old man from Barcelona, who had been infected with the HIV virus in 2009, was cured of the condition after receiving a transplant of blood.

While unfortunately the man later died from cancer just three years later, having developed lymphoma, the Spanish medical team is still hugely encouraged by what it considers to be a breakthrough in the fight against HIV and related conditions, according to the Spanish news source El Mundo.

Doctors in Barcelona initially attempted the technique using the precedent of Timothy Brown, an HIV patient who developed leukemia before receiving experimental treatment in Berlin, the Spanish news site The Local reported.

Brown was given bone marrow from a donor who carried the resistance mutation from HIV. After the cancer treatment, the HIV virus had also disappeared.

According to The Local, the CCR5 Delta 35 mutation affects a protein in white blood cells and provides an estimated one percent of the human population with high resistance to infection from HIV.

Spanish doctors attempted to treat the lymphoma of the so-called “Barcelona patient” with chemotherapy and an auto-transplant of the cells, but were unable to find him a suitable bone marrow.

“We suggested a transplant of blood from an umbilical cord but from someone who had the mutation because we knew from ‘the Berlin patient’ that as well as [ending] the cancer, we could also eradicate HIV,” Rafael Duarte, the director of the Haematopoietic Transplant Programme at the Catalan Oncology Institute in Barcelona, told The Local.

Prior to the transplant, a patient’s blood cells are destroyed with chemotherapy before they are replaced with new cells, incorporating the mutation which means the HIV virus can no longer attach itself to them. For the Barcelona patient, stem cells from another donor were used in order to accelerate the regeneration process.

Eleven days after the transplant, the patient in Barcelona experienced recovery. Three months later, it was found that he was clear of the HIV virus.

Despite the unfortunate death of the patient from cancer, the procedure has led to the development of an ambitious project that is backed by Spain’s National Transplant Organization.

March 2015 will mark the world’s first clinical trials of umbilical cord transplants for HIV patients with blood cancers.

Javier Martinez, a virologist from the research foundation Irsicaixa, stressed that the process is primarily designed to assist HIV patients suffering from cancer, but “this therapy does allow us to speculate about a cure for HIV,” he added.

#iPGN: 5 Must Do Medical Tests For Intending Couples

For most people, the joy of finding true love and deciding to go into matrimony with a spouse usually knows no bound. However, most people enter into this lifelong union without adequate knowledge of their partner’s health status and so become disappointed and frustrated with marriage because of medical conditions that could have been identified and tackled before this lifelong commitment.

The knowledge of your intending partner’s health status by no means implies that marriage is not possible but it gives you an avenue to make informed consent and it enables you and your spouse seek proper medical care early to prevent unnecessary stress and burden during marriage. In this article, we will be looking at 5 medical tests you should do before you get married.

  1. Test for HIV and other sexual transmitted diseases (STDs):

With the current prevalence of HIV and other STDs, it is important that spouses should request for their partners to be screened for these diseases before marriage. HIV, hepatitis B and C are lifelong conditions that if not properly managed can put serious strain on the marriage. The knowledge of your partner status helps you protect yourself/ seek for adequate medical care if your partner turns out to be positive and you also decide to go ahead with the marriage. Lifelong care and support is needed for partners who are infected. Other STDs e.g. gonorrhea, syphilis, bacterial vaginosis and warts can be treated with proper medical care. This reduces the risk of infertility and miscarriages during marriage.

  1. Test for blood group:

Knowledge of your spouse blood group is important before marriage because of rhesus isoimmunization/ blood group incompatibility that affects the fetus. This test is easy to perform and result is usually ready within 30 minutes. Blood group is assigned to an individual as A, B, O and AB with another component known as the Rhesus factor which is referred to as positive or negative. Women with rhesus negative blood group married to rhesus positive husbands have a greater chance of rhesus incompatibility where the mother produces antibodies (body defence system) to target the red blood cells of the growing fetus (rhesus positive fetus) leading to intrauterine death and miscarriages. Knowledge of your spouse blood group will alert your doctor to institute preventive measures which are used to prevent rhesus incompatibility reactions during pregnancy.

  1. Test for sickle cell gene:

Sickle cell disease is a chronic and debilitating medical condition caused by defect in red blood cells. As the name implies, these cells are shaped as a ‘sickle’ and this affect their ability to pass through tiny blood vessels to supply oxygen to cells and tissue. This account for most crises experienced by sickle cell patients. It is advisable for sickle cell patients (SS) not to marry a carrier of the sickle cell gene (AS) because of the 50% chance of having a baby with the disease in each pregnancy. However, a sickle cell patient (SS) can marry an individual with no trait of the disease (AA) as their offspring will only be carriers of the sickle cell genes.

  1. Fertility Test:

This may sound out of place or weird, but truth be told, fertility test is another test that all intending coupes should do before saying ‘I DO’. This is important because fertility issues can be addressed as early as possible without the unnecessary biological, psychological, social and emotional trauma associated with barrenness. Fertility test typically includes: seminal analysis for the men to assess for male fertility; hormonal assay for both couples e.g. FSH, LH, Prolactin, Testosterone, estrogen and progesterone; test for ovulation for the women, pelvic ultrasound scan may also be needed to assess the internal reproductive organs for any congenital or acquired abnormalities.

  1. Testing for possible genetic /chronic medical conditions:

Marriage is a lifelong commitment with both partners looking after each another. Knowledge of possible genetic or chronic conditions of your partner wouldn’t be harmful but it will go a long way in assisting both couples on how to best prepare for the challenges ahead. Early testing allows couples seek medical care before the medical conditions gets to its terminal stage. This test depends on the region and the common chronic/genetic condition seen in that populace. However, this test should include screening for diabetes, test for hypertension, certain cancers kidney disease and test for thalassemia.
