#iPGN: Governor Amaechi denies owing Duncan Mighty N50m

A few weeks ago, Singer, Duncan Mighty accused Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State of owing him N50million – a balance of the money he charged the Governor for a Youth Endorsement Concert in March, 2011.

Duncan Mighty called out to the Governor, asking him to pay him for the services he has rendered to him and his government.
He stated that he was paid only N10million after executing the project instead of N60million initially agreed upon.

Governor Rotimi Amaechi through his Commissioner for Information, Ibim Semenitari has reacted to the report.

Speaking with Premium times, he said;

“There is absolutely no truth in that allegation. The question perhaps you should ask Duncan is to tell you exactly when was he contracted; when it was executed and who contracted him? It is unfortunate when some people imagine that they have attained a status that enables them to blackmail others, tell blatant lies and get away with it.”

“Without joining issues with Duncan Mighty, I would suggest that you double check on his antecedents and his friendships,” the Commissioner said.
